About us

Corporate Responsibility

"We aim to be the easiest, most honest, and most reliable software reseller our customers will ever deal with — and to do business in a way our employees, suppliers and community would be proud of."

HULO Global Limited (trading as elite) is committed to operating ethically, transparently, and sustainably across every part of our business.

Our commitments

We are a digital business. We sell software licences to organisations in the UK and Ireland and we deliver everything electronically. That gives us a relatively low operational footprint — but it does not exempt us from responsibility for the way our supply chain operates, the environmental cost of our digital infrastructure, the experience of the people we employ, or our impact on the communities we trade in. This page sets out, plainly, what we commit to and how we hold ourselves to it.

1. Our people

Everyone employed by HULO Global Limited is engaged under a UK contract of employment, paid at or above the real Living Wage, and receives a written contract from day one. We pay equal pay for equal work and we publish an annual pay-gap review where required. We do not use zero-hours contracts for permanent roles. We do not use unpaid internships.

  • Real Living Wage employer.
  • Annual pay review, transparent salary bands.
  • Confidential speak-up channel for any employee concern.
  • Flexible-working policy and recognition of family-friendly statutory rights.
  • Reasonable adjustments offered to candidates and employees with disabilities or health conditions.

2. Environment

We sell digital goods. We have no manufacturing, no warehouse, and no physical fulfilment. That removes most categories of environmental impact, but it does not eliminate them — our servers, our offices and our staff travel still consume resources. We act on the impact we do have:

  • Cloud infrastructure preferentially hosted in low-carbon UK / EEA regions, where the provider publishes carbon intensity data.
  • Office heating, lighting and computing consolidated onto efficient equipment with sensible duty-cycle settings.
  • Default-electronic invoicing, contracting and licence delivery — we do not print fulfilment paperwork.
  • Business travel kept to the minimum that's actually useful; train-first within mainland UK.
  • Annual review of our small-business carbon footprint, scoped to operations.

Full detail in our Environmental Policy.

3. Ethics & governance

We operate under UK law and apply it as written — not as a ceiling. Our key governance commitments:

  • Anti-slavery & human trafficking. Annual Modern Slavery Statement published voluntarily under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Anti-bribery. Zero-tolerance policy under the Bribery Act 2010. No facilitation payments. No gifts and entertainment thresholds exceeded without director sign-off.
  • Sanctions. We do not trade with any party on the UK, EU, US OFAC or UN sanctions lists, nor in jurisdictions to which trade is prohibited.
  • Data protection. UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 compliance, ICO-registered, with a published Privacy Policy and a documented data-retention schedule.
  • Software authenticity. Every licence we supply is sourced through Microsoft's Cloud Solution Provider programme or other authorised distribution. No grey-market keys. No volume-licence farming. Replacement keys for any genuine activation issue within one working day.
  • Vulnerability disclosure. We operate a published Vulnerability Disclosure Policy and respond to good-faith security reports within stated timelines.

4. Our supply chain

Our supply chain is short and visible: a small set of large, regulated software publishers and their authorised distributors, plus UK-based infrastructure and professional-services providers. We verify each supplier's incorporation, modern-slavery statement and code of conduct before contracting and review them annually. We will not knowingly engage with any supplier whose practices we cannot reconcile with the standards on this page.

5. Community

We support the communities our employees live and work in with a default-yes attitude to time-off for volunteering and with targeted financial contributions to UK charities each year. We don't make a marketing event of it; we just do it.
